Skills
Where to start?
The Intermediate clinics are NOT necessarily for intermediate riders! We highly suggest you take a Fundamentals clinic before Intermediate because the Fundamentals are still challenging and you will gain the most value out of an Intermediate clinic if you start at the Fundamentals. The Intermediate skills are different than the Fundamentals and require a higher confidence level to perform.
You absolutely can take an Intermediate clinic and then Fundamentals later. The Fundamentals cover small details that fill in the blanks to mountain biking and will make you a more well-rounded rider.
Regardless, you’ll walk away with valuable knowledge from our instructors to help you progress to that next level so you can improve, have fun, and be safe on the trail. Build your confidence and progress your skillset with Ride Guide!
Fundamental Skills
The Fundamentals framework will provide you with a road map to becoming a better mountain biker. Before progressing to the next level, all riders (regardless of experience) should establish this foundation. Intermediate riders will still find fundamental skills challenging to master.
The Fundamentals skills are the small details that help you become a more well rounded rider. Once you know and practice these skills, you will have an easier time progressing in the next levels on mountain biking.
